PEI Here We Come!
JoySo you may or may not have heard that my friend
and I participated in Skills BC and won silver for 3D Animation. This is extremely awesome, of course, though we were a little bit bummed out that we couldn't go to PEI for Skills Canada. Anyways, we found out today that the gold medal winners can't make it, so we get to go after all!! We are super stoked, and hopefully, we will make it on to worlds!Also, I got contacts today, and I hate them. They're in right now, and even though, woohoo! I can see, they are irritating and make my eyes dry and are generally uncomfortable. They also take me forever to put in and take out. Bleh.
Two of my friends and I are doing Dragon's Den Young Entrepreneurs' Challenge, where we have to create a business from scratch and do all of the things involved in that, like marketing and budget. Our website just went up, with more on the way! [link] It's not finished yet, but any support would be much appreciated!
Just finished reading the latest book of the Chronicles of the Necromancer series, Dark Haven. Excellent books if you're looking for an epic adventure story. [link]

My mom's been looking up flights, and we found a couple that leave on the friday after competition (meaning we miss the closing ceremonies), cause if we don't we can't really get out of PEI before grad, which sucks big time! Hopefully Becker can find something.

Anyways, Ranger's Apprentice is sort of like medieval fiction. There are knights and vikings and kings and stuff. It follows a bow named Will who becomes apprenticed to a Ranger. Rangers are like the medieval secret services. It's a really good series!
